While I've had several experiences now at The Herbal Center (THC), I've still only been able to sample a selected variety of their strains, and edibles including Mountain Medicine medicines as well as in-house and a variety of other edibles. For this reason the current rating above, is only a standing rating and is likely to change as our Marijuana Review Crew samples additional medicinal products from The Herbal Center (THC).
I must say that my first impression was that the place was a bit "ghetto," from the clientele exiting THC's facility, to the one way white shaded windows. Once checked in the waiting area is pleasant enough, though again the crowd did seem a little rough.
Once at the display of medicinal marijuana, I surveyed their products. The Herbal Center (THC) has a Moderate variety of strains, a Larger than normal selection of medicinal edibles and THC laced drinks. They also have a small selection of tinictures, clones and smoking devices for sale.
As is the usual process, once called up to the display of medical marijuana, I asked employee, who was also a caregiver, to recommend a The Herbal Center's most potent and popular strains of sativa, Keif and hash (for the time being I skipped the indica).
As one of the caregiver's personal favorite Sativa strains, he recommended Power Plant, a popular hybrid Sativa. When it came to hash, THC's caregiver suggested their Sour Diesel Hash. They also had some good specials running on White Widow and a decent variety of pancaked keif, so I picked a gram of the keif and an eighth of the Widow up as well.
THC/The Herbal Center's Sour Diesel Hash was no joke. Only a small amount can get you very high. Without question, the our Marijuana Review Crew ranked the Sour Diesel Hash a Very Potent hash. It's a great hash to warm up, flatten, spread across the top of some fine indica or sativa cannabis and just veg out.
To get a fresh taste of the THC/The Herbal Center's stains, we smoked the White Widow strain out of a fresh piece of glass picked up from Headed West, a head shop just down the street from THC's dispensary. THC's White Widow strain ranked as Good. It's a smooth smoke, and mellow high that is not going to knock you on your ass but will allow you to function while medicating with this strain throughout the day.
