New Mexico Proposes Changes to Medical Cannabis Trade
New Mexico wants to raise fees on producers of medical marijuana in order to better fund administration of the states program, operated by the New Mexico Department of Health, which helps to control, protect and regulate the medical marijuana industry in New Mexico.
The new regulations proposed by the New Mexico Department of Health aims to increase the application fee on would-be producers from the current $100 to $1,000 and establish an annual fee on the licensed nonprofit organizations that grow medical marijuana.
